CHOICE - Aussie Consumer Watch Dog - Gives the Doro 615 the Thumbs Up

Australia's leading consumer watchdog, Choice reviewed the PhoneEasy 615 highlighting the ease of use and suitability of the phone for seniors. The emergency features (button and ICE), the camera and charging stand were also featured.

"The move to provide a simple yet effective mobile phone for users, both young and old, who do not require a smartphone, is to be commended. The Doro PhoneEasy 615 pushes all the right buttons at a reasonable price."

Choice also reviewed the PhoneEasy 410s in April 2010 and rated it at that time as best in class for seniors. The 615 is the upgrade of the 410 to 3G, a new more stylish design and adds a camera.

The Telegraph Reviews the Doro PhoneEasy 615

Great review of the Doro PhoneEasy 615 in The Telegraph today.

"Designed for seniors, the Doro PhoneEasy 615 is a simple handset with thoughtful additions. The flip-phone has large, backlit keys for easy selections and three programmable buttons for quick access to frequently called numbers. Large text is screened on its 2.4-inch colour display, and the phone not only has an extra loud ringtone but is compatible with many hearing aids.

In keeping with its seniors focus, this phone has a dial-up safety alarm.

The PhoneEasy 615 does add a few modern extras, including a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity and an FM radio, for those who want more than just a caller. Its battery delivers a talk time of up to 11 hours."
