We recommend that when you add addresses to the Address Book you include the country code prefix. This ensures that the caller name appears on inbound calls and messages.
Just add +61 before their number in the address book, you can remove the first 0.
eg 04 123 456 789 becomes +61 4 123 456 789

this only changes the issue, with optus the caller id show up as the international code (+614)for inbound calls and without for inbound sms (04) (or vice versa) - hence this only reverses this issue. the only fix I have found is to save both versions under the contact name (has to be saved to phone to be able to do this.
ReplyDeleteI have spoken with DORO and this issue is fixed in the latest software version - its just a matter of carriers having the necessary flashing software to fix it if sent away.
